Jackie Pilgrim is a nationally and internationally recognized trainer and consultant specializing in the intersection of race and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a disabled professional and mother to an adult son with developmental disabilities, Jackie brings both lived experience and deep expertise to her work.
Jackie partners with individuals, organizations, and agencies seeking to create more inclusive, equitable, and culturally responsive support systems for people of color in the IDD community. Through customized training and consultation—whether one-time sessions or ongoing collaboration—Jackie helps organizations develop meaningful, effective strategies to better serve diverse families and individuals with IDD.
